Disaster Strategy Coordinator

Department: Programs
Reports to: Vice President of Strategy and Programs
Position Summary: The Disaster Strategy Coordinator leads and manages collaborative efforts that enhance Hawai’i Foodbank’s capacity to deliver disaster response services and build long-term community resilience. This role focuses on strategic partnerships, particularly in emergency and disaster response, as well as broader food security initiatives across the state. The coordinator will work with county, state, and federal government agencies and nonprofit partners to foster strategic alliances, ensuring alignment with Hawai’i Foodbank’s mission and goals. The role also collaborates with internal teams on disaster preparedness, food distribution logistics, and community engagement projects, while playing a key role in organizational strategy development.

The Disaster Strategy Coordinator must demonstrate an active commitment to the mission of Hawai’i Foodbank and maintain a high level of professionalism and strategic thinking in all aspects of their work.

Kaua‘i Agency Relations and Kūpuna Programs Manager

Department: Kaua‘i Operations and Programs
Reports to: Kaua‘i Assistant Director, Director of Agency Relations, and Vice President of Strategy and Programs
Position Summary: Under the direction of the Kaua‘i Assistant Director, the Kaua‘i Agency Relations and Kūpuna Programs Manager is responsible for leading and managing agency partner initiatives and the implementation and administration of programs serving senior citizens on Kaua‘i. This includes maintaining and strengthening relationships with partner agencies; overseeing compliance and program effectiveness; implementing strategies to enhance agency engagement and food distribution efforts; and managing programs such as CSFP, Kūpuna Fresh, and SFMNP. The position ensures program sustainability through caseload management and outreach, training and compliance with all regulations. The position will also administer Feeding America programs, community organizational events and food distribution at the agencies.

Kaua‘i Delivery Driver and Warehouse Support

Department: Kaua‘i Operations
Reports to: Kaua‘i Warehouse Manager
Position Summary: The Delivery Driver and Warehouse Support is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of food and supplies to and from commercial donors, farmers, food drives, schools, partner agencies, community food distribution sites and other food partners. This role plays a critical part in the food bank’s operations by ensuring timely pickups and deliveries while maintaining accurate records and adhering to food safety and warehouse protocols. The driver works closely with warehouse staff, partner organizations and community stakeholders to support hunger relief efforts, maintain operational efficiency, and uphold the food bank’s mission of serving the community with dignity and respect.
